I transitioned to coaching clients after having engaged in a successful legal career spanning over 20 years. I served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, worked as a Trial Counsel and Director of the NYSE and FINRA, for 15 years, and rounded out my legal career as a Vice President, Corporate Counsel at Prudential Financial. During my extensive legal experience, I worked in various fields and in different roles. I held management and executive positions over the course of my corporate, regulatory, and prosecutorial career and was considered an exceptional leader and communicator with a track record of collaborating with business leaders to drive organizational improvement and large-scale cultural change.
I hold a law degree from Boston College School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University, where I was a four-year varsity letter winner and captain of the women’s lacrosse team. I also earned Professional Certifications in Career Coaching and Life Coaching. My work as a coach draws on the full range of my education.
I am an avid sports fan (who often daydreamed about becoming an ESPN Sports Anchor). I coach lacrosse, love to ski and was a frequent participant in marathon racing but I am more currently a regular client of The Bar Method. My favorite movies are Rocky, The Shawshank Redemption and any movie that stars Will Ferrell. I am a single mom and my greatest priority in life is caring for my son and daughter. Raising my children in a loving and supportive environment will be the most important job in my lifetime. Whatever happens next in my life, they will remain the greatest gifts I have ever received.
“Coaching with Julie has been one of the most important experiences of my life. Julie coached me through two of the biggest decisions I have ever had to make and because of her guidance and support I had the courage and confidence to make changes in my life. She has equipped me with the tools I need to deal with any challenge that life throws my way.”Bryce W.
“I started career coaching sessions with Julie after I had become unhappy and stressed out at work. I had already spent almost two years trying to find another job before coaching with Julie. Working with her was the best investment I have ever made. Julie helped me get my priorities in order and helped me with take steps to find a new job – she improved my CV, researched potential jobs, prepared me for interviews and helped me feel more confident about my abilities. After two months working with Julie I was able to finally land my dream job and couldn’t be happier with my life!”Natalie D.
